Prajna (Wisdom), Karuna (Love) and Samatha (Equality) are the three inspiring words in the motto of the Siddhartha Senior Secondary School which is true to the spirit of the motto.
The foundation was laid to the Siddhartha School in June 1981 by the educationists and the philanthropists of Vellore town who founded themselves into a registered body known as “The people’s progressive society”, with Mr. R.P. Ulaganambi, M.A., B.L., Former Member of Parliament as the FOUNDER – PRESIDENT.
“Education is the manifestation of perfection already in man”, says Swamy
Vivekananda, “Education is an all round development of the whole personality of man and ability to adjust himself to environment”, says Gandhiji, keeping these high ideals in view, the Siddhartha Senior Secondary School is imparting sound and qualitative education for the past 37 years in a laudable manner.
Catering to the needs of the children of vellore town and surrounding localities, the Nursery, Primary and Secondary sections of the school were started with modest strength of 85 students on 5 June 1981 by “The people’s progressive society”.
The school follows the central pattern of education formulated by the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, keeping in view the needs of the children of the employees of the Central Government whose parents are liable to be transferred any where in our country. We develop a sense of National Integration among our students.
